Partnerships

During distance learning many families are reporting that their children feel isolated, anxious, and depressed. Many kids do not have a way to express what they are feeling, either by processing their thoughts and feelings with peers and grownups, or by playing and interacting with peers. As time passes, some of our students are losing touch with their resiliency, emotional regulation, and ability to connect with peers. As families wait for schools to reopen for in-person learning, it is clear that most students could benefit from social emotional supports.

At CASA, our team excels at delivering SEL curriculum in an extra fun and engaging manner. CASA’s three tenets of art, social justice, and social emotional wellness are present in all of our programming. We are well versed in providing inspired virtual engagement for youth with an emphasis on creating safe spaces that allow children to connect with one another in an authentic manner. During CASA’s in-person pause we have enjoyed forming partnerships with other organizations to offer virtual engagement. Currently, CASA has been enjoying a partnership with UCSF’s Pediatric Audiology Clinic to provide social groups for Deaf and Hard of Hearing youth.
